Job brief

We are looking for a driven Marketing and Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company,s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other businesses (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions and increase presence
  • Create and design visual elements such as logos, original images, and stationary.

Graphic/Marketing Designer

The creative talents of the individual in this role will be applied to digital advertisements, marketing materials, sales documents, trade show materials and web graphics. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Product Managers by performing market research, market analysis, and maintaining the customer relationship management tool. The successful candidate will be an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker who strives for design excellence and enjoys challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Design marketing material in accordance with brand guidelines aligned with messaging and creative briefs
  • Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
  • Measure web traffic to content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
  • Engage and contribute to national programs and pilots
  • Use a marketing automation platform (Marketo and UEngage) to set up email and push campaigns to educate, engage, and convert business prospects
  • Deliver campaigns end-to-end: from strategy and build to reporting, analysis, and optimization
  • Work with the copyeditor and manage production workflow to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within agreed strategy and plan
  • Plan, design, and execute marketing tests to uncover opportunities for driving increased campaign engagement and conversion

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Fluency in English
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • Graphic design
