Job description for Tailoring Production Manager.

We are looking for young and energetic Tailoring Production Manager with leadership and people management skill for tailoring workshop.

Main Responsibilities:

Tailoring Production Manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of all the garment manufacturing activities and ensures that the company production targets are met; he/she is also responsible for the administration and operational tasks for the entire production unit.

• Day to day management of workshop staff and tailors.
• Assist in planning, designing and delivering new products.
• Manage quality issues in all aspect of production, workshop operation in line with codes of practice (as per the brand standard).
• Placing orders with Suppliers, Arranging required fabrics and materials.
• Feedback to tailors to optimize the quality and production.
• Oversee production of orders and ensure the accurate and timely completion of it.
• Preparing and review daily production report.
• Evaluate, train, motivate and develop staff to maximize their strengths and improve the efficiency of the production team.
• Communicates at all levels on status and production availability and flag any delays or issues immediately; ensures outbound delivery schedules are met and works towards deadlines.
• Promotes and maintains a harmonious working relationship with all Production staff across the Workshop.
• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience in people management.
• English and Urdu speaking is a must.
• Good Communication skill.
• Microsoft Office Knowledge.
• Leadership skill with people management.
• Tailoring/couture/ fashion industry background knowledge is a must.
• Open for all nationalities.
