Position: Architect / Authority Liaison - Abu Dhabi

Educational Qualifications:

Candidate with Bachelors degree in Arch or Civil Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

Ø This role directs the smooth co-ordination, planning, management and completion of all design drawings for the submission to all government (in Abu Dhabi) and local authorities to obtain their approvals. To coordinate with each authority, client and contractor in providing clear processes to achieve the required approvals in a timely manner and to ensure this is done according to best practices and applicable regulations.

Ø Min. 2 - 4 years, experience in liaising and dealing with the approval process for villas, buildings, infrastructure, fit out projects with the specific statutory relevant authorities / stakeholders in Abu Dhabi Emirate.

Ø Coordinate with all Governmental / Local Authorities in obtaining their approvals of projects in Abu Dhabi

Ø Liaise with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.

Ø Manage the approvals of the clients and for all submittals.

Ø Coordinate with different teams and achieve effective cooperation and smooth collaboration. Ensure all work is completed within the set deadlines, as per the agreed deliverables.

Ø Prepare all documents and drawings for each authority submission in the correct formats required to obtain all required clearances and approvals from local authorities throughout the project and prior to handing over the project.

Ø Review, communicate with and approve sub consultant submissions for authority approvals.

Ø Be aware of changes to policies, procedures and protocols of each government/local authority and adapt office systems accordingly.

Ø Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft office products, Adobe creative suite, Certified professional in

Ø Broad technical understanding of villas, building, infrastructure and fitout project sub-disciplines.

Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
