To support the Technology Infrastructure unit in achieving the Technology strategy for operational efficiency & functioning of Infrastructure Management unit by providing critical infrastructure and end-user applications to ensure system availability and performance.

IT Infrastructure Plan

• Support in the development of the architecture plan for infrastructure, ensuring the optimization, scalability, high availability, and security of the components by adopting best technologies.

• Work with the Unit Head to ensure driving forward best industry practices for the availability of IT infrastructure to meet the business needs across all organizations.

• Monitor and ensure operational efficiency & functioning of IT infrastructure across the organizations such as corporate servers, network performance & security and communication operations.

• Support in the preparation of the annual budget (when required) by evaluating IT infrastructure needs for the organizations and suggest appropriate investment to enhance IT infrastructure performance.

• Ensure high service levels are maintained and consistent support to the users to enhance and retain user satisfaction.

• Support the management of critical infrastructure and end-user applications to ensure system availability and performance, reporting on capacity management, availability management, software distribution.

• Evaluate factors to ensure optimum network performance and report the same to the Unit Head. Define and deploy network policies and set up accounts, permissions, and passwords.

• Contribute to the Network security function by setting up policies, optimization and upgrading security devices/solutions to ensure secured IT platform. Implement intrusion detection systems to ensure prevention of malicious and policy violations.

• Ensure configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network devices and monitor deployment of new network systems to ensure consistent network connectivity and optimum performance.

• Support in the management of communication systems such as VPN, routers, IP telephones, switches etc. Ensure remote communication and network services are functioning efficiently.

• Support in the delivery of the IP Telephone system and ensure performance to deliver the voice, fax, or video packets in a dependable flow to the user.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for the email, telephony system, video conferencing, and visual media.

• Ensure all aspects of system administration are managed such as operating systems, directories, storage, and recovery to ensure operational efficiency.

• Secure and administer active directory, set up user accounts and protect administrative access to Active Directory domain controllers. Manage the installation of operating systems and upkeep configuration to ensure performance tuning regularly.

• Bachelor,s degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Master,s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.

• Certifications in IT CCNA, ITNL MCSE, CISSP, PMP is preferred.

• Bachelor,s degree in information technology (Masters preferred)

• 3 to 5 years of experience, at least 2 of which must be working in infrastructure.

• Full professional English language, reading and writing (Arabic highly desirable)
