Major Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the installation, testing, and maintenance of access network equipment and CPE types.
• Carry out daily work orders and trouble ticket provisioning/clearing for all voice and data services and associated last-mile systems.
• Collect daily logistics materials, tools, and testers to provide the required cabling and testing.
• Available on call and 24/7 emergency as and when required.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Carry out daily tasks on the assigned WO/TT installation/maintenance, checking all details and collecting required materials, tools, and testers, and processing assignments as requested.

2) Perform cable patching at POP/MDF/ID/Customer CP to extend required services connectivity from the DU side to the customer s premises. Ensure cabling is done as required quality and standards.

3) Perform equipment and CPE troubleshooting and fault isolation utilizing different types of tools and testers to analyze, isolate, and clear reported incidents and restore affected services to customers as soon as possible.

4) Provide continuous site monitoring to assess installation and maintenance quality and target fulfillment as well as provide technical support to customers.

5) Implement preventive maintenance activities and ensure these are carried out as per schedule and supervisor,s instructions.

6) Monitor and control the deployment of all provided materials and tools on a day-to-day basis and properly utilize allocated resources.

8) Meet or exceed processing intervals and other standards and ensure services are delivered within the agreed SLA.

9) Available to work in shifting schedules, on-call rotation, and 24/7 emergency work to attend to provisioning and clear incidents

10) Physically capable of carrying cables, heavy materials, and climbing ladders as and when required

11) Coordinate with section supervisors and other team members to extend and test required services on a daily basis as per WO/TT.

12) Develop a knowledge of existing and new DU products, services, pricing, and promotions in order to provide correct information to customer queries.

Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor,s degree in any computer discipline, communications or Electronics Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience in the installation and maintenance of access network equipment

Salary: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
